Finding the motion of a spring
I would think that this concept would be used in a lot of construction and architecture or maybe mechanical engineering. Sine and Cosine waves can be used by figuring out the effect of an earthquake on a bridge. A right triangle can be used in many jobs like Astronomy, Engineering, Computer Programming, etc. I didn't really think about how math would be applied to everyday life other than addition, subtraction, division, etc. It wasn't until I got into Math 1010 and started the ePortfolio assignment. It made me realize that math is used so much, we may not even realize it. It may not seem that important now since I'm still going to school, but once I get into the occupation I want, I know I'm going to be using it nearly everyday.
