Day 1: Channel 5 was good, but, they didn’t put any cold fronts or warm fronts on the screen, along with any vocabulary words on the forecast. Channel 2 had involved jet streams and high and low pressure, and made it easy to understand. Channel 4 was also good, they had pretty accurate temperature and was very believable. Lastly, Channel 13 had some issues with the weather and made it very hard to concentrate.

Day 2: All the channels were quite boring, all the newscasters had no interest in doing the weather today. Channel 4 still had a good record, the newscaster made it easy to understand, and made it believable. Channel 2, 5, and 13 kind of had some trouble presenting the weather.

Day 3: Channel 4 is still in the lead. They presented the weather well, also making it interesting and easy to understand, while channel 2 and 13 still had some trouble. But, it was a lot better than the 2nd day. Channel 5 did a lot better than the 2nd day as well, and got better ratings because it was easier for me to concentrate and understand what they were going for.

The best channel was Channel 4, they had the most accurate temperatures along with the best presenting and made it very believable. The newscaster wasn’t boring with presenting, he had cracked a few jokes, and I enjoyed it. It wasn’t like the rest of the other channels.

Assignment #2
I think taking Meterology 1010 has helped me learn more about the weather. Before, I knew nearly nothing to what I know now. Even though meterology just talks about the weather, it's a good skill to have. When I was taking Earth Science, we barely skimmed the surface of the weather. I never planned on taking this class before, I dropped one of my other classes and decided to take this one, and I'm glad I did. I think that this a fun, excited class that teaches you about the weather and its symbols and such.

This class has definately enhanced my knowledge towards meterology and weather, I've been able to see the extremes of weather, and experiment on how weather works and such. I've also been able to see what weather can do and the dangers and the benefits from it.

If one of my friends or family members were wondering about this class, I would tell them to take it. Like I said before, this is a good skill to have, and even though you may not use it for a long while, you won't be one of those people who sit clueless in front of the TV trying to figure out what the newscaster is saying. This is just one of those classes you should take for experience.
